Meta Muse reached 10.2 million downloads in the US within 40 days of launch, with a first-week retention rate of 30%, but vulnerabilities in its privacy features have drawn attention. Researchers found more than 6,800 publicly accessible shared conversation links. Meta said on October 20 that it would pause the sharing feature. Muse has also entered the agentic commerce space through checkout with Stripe’s Link, using one-time card numbers to protect payment information.
