The number of RWA holders is growing rapidly, but most tokenized assets have virtually no secondary-market trading, and liquidity remains a serious problem. The 671 tokenized assets surveyed by Pantera Capital have a total value of $331.8 billion. Products requiring whitelists account for 59% of market capitalization but contribute just 0.2% of spot trading volume; BUIDL has $2.77 billion in holdings and 106 investors, but recorded only 191 transfers in a single month.
The Indian government will re-issue two dated securities through a multiple-price auction, with a combined notified issuance of ₹33,000 crore. The 6.53% GS 2031 and 7.71% GS 2066 will be issued for ₹19,000 crore and ₹14,000 crore, respectively. The auction will be held on October 23, 2026, and successful bidders will make payment and settlement on October 26, 2026.
Partior and National Bank of Bahrain signed an MoU to explore incorporating Bahraini dinar settlement into Partior’s blockchain network. The agreement will assess NBB’s potential role as the settlement bank, the operating model, and implementation requirements; the arrangement remains under evaluation, and the announcement did not provide an implementation timeline.
